Tenuta La Bandita is a hidden treasure in the hills of the Val di Cornia, just a few kilometres away from the coast, immersed in a typical Tuscan landscape of vineyards and olive groves. The location is perfect for a beach holiday without having to deal with mass toursim at your overnight stay. It is also ideally situated to explore small Tuscan towns such as Bolgheri, Castagneto Carducci, Populonia and is not far away from Volterra, Livorno and Pisa.
The Tenuta (estate) is comprised of three buildings: the 18th century Villa Padronale, the Foresteria and the Ulivi. These are decorated with beautiful paintings, antique furniture and precious ornaments. The estate has a refreshing swimming pool, extensive gardens and an amazing panoramic terrace where you can dine, overlooking the countryside.
At the Tenuta La Bandita's restaurant, guests can taste regional dishes and all the specialities of the Maremma, prepared using organic products of the Tenuta's farm. Guests have the opportunity to savour La Bandita's olive oil and cheeses, but also the highly prized wild boar meat and Cinta senese pork, obtained from the animals on the estate. To accompany each meal, a selection of superb wines such as the Sassicaia, Ornellaia, Grattamacco and Paleo is served.
